Celebrate Vaisakhi Day!

This April 7th, Sunday, at the Los Angeles Convention Center thousands of Sikhs across California and beyond will gather to commemorate Vaisakhi Day with a full day Kirtan Darbar and Nagar Kirtan.

This year’s Los Angeles Celebration, which includes the cooperation of dozens of California Gurdwaras, begins at Guru Ram Das Ashram at 1620 Preuss Rd.

Schedule:
The recitation of Japji Sahib at 3:40 am followed by an Asa di Var program sung by the Chardi Kala Jatha.

A special caravan of cars following Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji escorted by Motorcycle Officers will start from Guru Ram Das Ashram at 6:15 am and arrive at the Convention Center West Hall (1201 S. Figueroa St, Los Angeles) by 6:45 am.

After the opening Hukam read from Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji the Kirtan Darbar (Courtyard of Divine Music) program will begin. The Kirtan Darbar includes Ragi Jathas from across southern and central California along with many youth kirtan groups.
